Profile Design Hack

Wow! Thank you. That is what I am talking about... Let's make this thing grow. 

I was thinking same thing about the profile design, I did a fix for wowonder but didn't do to Sgnine yet.

I've always been annoyed by the image tiling when you put a beautiful background image on your profile page, and while I get it's designed for small images to be tiled, I wanted something more worthty, enter the hack.

Add the code snippet below in profile.tpl AFTER

{include file='_head.tpl'}
{include file='_header.tpl'}

... it should look like this.

{include file='_header.tpl'}

// Cover entire background on Profile page only.

  document.addEventListener("DOMContentLoaded", function () {
    // Override the inline background style
    document.body.style.backgroundSize = "cover"; // or "contain", "100% 100%", etc.
  });

// Cover entire background on Profile page only.

... save it and then turn on Design by going to Settings >>> Account Settings >>> and clicking on the Profile Tab, after saving your settings you can drop in a nice high-resolution image for the background of your profile page and have it cover the entire background and not tile it..
