Newsletter module - schedule mails
'Some hosting companies do not impose strict limits on email sending, especially for transactional emails sent within an application. For example, Contabo allows you to host your own email server without significant restrictions, enabling you to send a high volume of email, ideal if you're managing your own infrastructure.
If you prefer not to maintain your own email server, services like MailerSend offer a generous free tier and provide reliable deliverability. Their infrastructure is designed to ensure that your emails reach the inbox rather than being marked as spam, making them a solid choice for scalable and dependable email delivery.
I'm not advertising anyone, but I'm giving an example and a solution that I use and that works.
I have checked with my hosting provider AND I have some restrictions on numbers of mails send out per hour and how many I can send out per "batch".
Does anyone use the newsletter module and how do you deal with large numbers of recipients ?
Its NOT an urgent matter. Im Just curious if Sengine can handle a scheduled rule for sending the mails.
Any ideas?
Lets hear..
