Welcome to the ScriptsTribe Forum! Our forum is a place for open discussion, learning, and sharing knowledge about Wowonder and other popular PHP scripts. To keep the community helpful and respectful, all members must follow these rules. Failure to adhere to these rules may result in warnings, restricted access, or a permanent ban.
1. Respectful and Professional Communication
All members are expected to interact respectfully. Discriminatory, offensive, or inappropriate language will not be tolerated.
Avoid personal attacks, trolling, or inflammatory posts. Disagreement is natural, but please express your opinions respectfully.
2. No Solicitation for Paid Help or Private Chats
Strictly No Unsolicited Payment Requests: Members may not ask for payment in exchange for help, nor solicit donations or other forms of compensation within forum discussions. Soliciting payment in public or private messages without the user requesting it is strictly prohibited.
No Unsolicited Private Messages: Sending unsolicited private messages to offer paid help or to shift the conversation into a private chat for answering questions is not allowed. Help requests and answers must remain public unless the original poster specifically requests private assistance.
Solicitation Consequences: Members found soliciting payment or initiating private chats without prior request may face immediate banning from the forum.
3. Post in the Correct Category
Every post must be placed in its appropriate category. This keeps the forum organized and ensures that questions and discussions reach the right audience.
Examples of Categories: "Wowonder Customizations," "PHP Troubleshooting," "Add-On Development," "Marketplace," etc.
If you’re unsure where to post, please refer to the category descriptions or ask a moderator.
4. Avoid Duplicate Posts
Before starting a new topic, search the forum to see if a similar question has already been asked. Posting duplicate questions clutters the forum and may prevent you from getting prompt help.
If a similar topic exists, consider joining the existing discussion instead of creating a new thread.
5. Clear and Descriptive Titles
Use clear and descriptive titles for new posts to help others understand the nature of your question or discussion.
Avoid vague titles like “Help Needed” or “Question.” Instead, specify the issue or topic, such as “Error in Wowonder Profile Customization” or “Need Guidance on PHP Session Handling.”
6. Provide Details in Your Questions
When asking for help, provide all relevant details, including code snippets, error messages, and specific steps you’ve taken. This helps others understand your issue and provide accurate assistance.
Avoid posting vague or unclear questions that may lead to delays in receiving help.
7. Respect Intellectual Property and Attribution
When sharing code, resources, or solutions, respect intellectual property rights. Do not share code or resources that you do not have the right to distribute.
If you reference external sources or tutorials, please provide proper credit and links to the original material.
8. No Spamming or Self-Promotion
Do not post irrelevant content, spam, or advertisements in the forum. This includes links to unrelated websites, excessive self-promotion, or repeated requests for users to join external sites.
If you have a resource, product, or service relevant to the forum topic, ensure it’s shared in a helpful, non-intrusive manner and only in the appropriate categories, such as the "Marketplace" or "Resources" section.
9. No Sharing of Personal or Sensitive Information
For your safety and the security of others, do not share personal information such as email addresses, phone numbers, or payment information in the forum.
Avoid posting sensitive details of any third-party accounts, passwords, or other private information. If sharing configuration or code, remove any sensitive credentials.
10. Respect Forum Moderators and Admins
Our moderators and admins are here to help maintain a healthy, positive environment. Please respect their decisions and follow any guidance they provide.
If you have a concern or disagreement with a moderator’s action, reach out privately to discuss the issue, rather than airing grievances publicly.
11. Flag Inappropriate Content
If you come across content that violates these rules, please use the “Report” feature or notify a moderator. Do not engage with the post directly, as it may escalate the issue.
Reporting inappropriate content helps us maintain a safe and supportive community for everyone.
12. Marketplace Guidelines
The Marketplace is the only section where members can post services, add-ons, or other offerings for sale.
Even in the Marketplace, users must not pressure others to buy or repeatedly solicit individual users.
Sales posts should clearly outline the product or service, including all relevant information, pricing, and terms.
13. Consequences of Violating Rules
Warnings: Minor offenses may result in a warning from a moderator. Continued violations may escalate to more severe actions.
Temporary or Permanent Ban: Severe or repeated rule-breaking, such as unsolicited solicitation or offensive behavior, may result in a temporary or permanent ban from ScriptsTribe.
14. Updates to Forum Rules
ScriptsTribe may update these rules to reflect community feedback or to address new concerns. We encourage users to periodically review the Forum Rules to stay informed of any changes.
By participating in the ScriptsTribe forum, you agree to abide by these rules and help us create a constructive, supportive, and spam-free environment. We’re glad to have you as part of the community and look forward to productive discussions and collaboration!
