Hello to the community!
It's great that a place like this exists.
I own two social media sites, which I develop and update with two small community teams.

I hope that people will be looking for more posts and new members here in the future, so that there will be a place to help each other and discover new things for their own community.

I'll definitely post some things from my communities here to give you ideas and further solutions for your communities!

I've made some adjustments to our moderation system, not only redesigning the reports listing page.

Users now also receive a notification when one of their posts is deleted during moderation, with information about which post and the reason.

One of the first things I created for moderation: report logs.
All reports with all information and decisions are saved to view moderation decisions and identify suspicious accounts at all times. Reports are also assigned to the user in the profile edit to view previously made moderation decisions. Moderators themselves can also add their own entries without having to create a report. In case of warnings etc.

I'll show more of my changes here in the future!

I still remember some comments on the Codecanyon sngine page where users wished for different mod groups with different permissions to grant team members different rights.

The team's response: "It's not possible, it will never happen."

It's strange that it took me 60 minutes to do this and it works perfectly...

To give our users more options for customizing their profiles, and as an additional monetization option, we have "Rings" for our users. Here, users can choose between free and paid profile rings, which are displayed everywhere around their profile picture: in the timeline, profile, comments—everywhere. In addition to free rings, users can also purchase rings with their points or for $ via the payment system.

We can insert simple CSS designs for this, or even PNGs to add more specific designs.

Our users love it! Maybe an idea for your community!

In one of my communities, posting adult content is permitted. To give users more control over this type of content, we have added two new settings: one allows users to completely disable the display of adult content on their account, ensuring they are not exposed to it at all. The other ensures that adult content is always blurred by default, allowing users to scroll through their feed in public without concern.

Small but very important change
Volume setting in the Reels tab! All reels play at 50% volume unless the user has changed it themselves in the current session.

For this purpose, our users have a volume slider to adjust the volume themselves!

Nice to have: Bold/Italic in posts and comments!

We recently started offering our communitys the option to customize their post text more by making highlighted text bold or italic. Visible to everyone!

We also left ourselves the option of making this feature available only to Pro Package members later, as an additional addition to Premium, thus making it more attractive.

What's important for one of my communities: Custom timelines!

Discover posts: Shows random public posts that are no older than 60 days.
Recent posts: Shows all public posts, listed from newest to oldest.
Following: Shows the user all posts from friends, people they follow, pages, and groups.

This allows us to offer our users a better selection of content and posts that they can see. This has significantly increased our retention time.

Maybe also an idea for your community!
